Stuart Gold, a Partner in the Commercial and Corporate Litigation group, has over 30 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and bankruptcy law in state and federal courts. In his commercial litigation practice, Stuart has handled cases involving a wide variety of contract disputes, creditors’ rights matters, shareholder oppression cases, partnership disputes, and estate and probate matters.
Stuart obtained a $1.1 million settlement for a client who was placed into an inappropriately-defined contribution plan. As a bankruptcy practitioner, he has represented debtors, secured creditors, and creditors. He served as a court appointed mediator for civil and foreclosure cases.
Stuart is an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University where he teaches courses on Business Law and Legal History. He was an Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall Law School, where he taught courses on Remedies and Agency and Partnership. In March 2009, he was a visiting professor at the University of Szeged in Hungary, where he taught courses on litigation and legal drafting.
Stuart has been named to the NJ Super Lawyers List, most recently in 2020 in the Business Litigation field.
